Today I wanted to announced that I have been nominated for the Women of the year campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I am part of team working to raise as much as possible in a 10-week period. Every dollar I raise counts as one vote and the candidate who gets the most votes/raises the most money is named the Man or Woman of the Year.
As some of you may already know I am passionate about my hate for Cancer, and especially blood cancers. My family has fought with and supported my brother in 2 battles against Leukemia! My family has also felt first hand the support provided to families and patients by Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. When I was nominated for Woman Of The Year I was humbled and honored to be able to give 10 weeks of my life to raise funds to fight these horrible cancers, and pass the support along to other families who are fighting like mine. My new friend and old family friend Jan Evridge has also been nominated as Woman Of The Year, we are joining forces for good this week, and invite you to join us too!
Everyone wins when cancer loses, and thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund the therapies and treatments that save lives, not someday but today. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
Please join me at our Knoxville location–7240 Kingston Pike #196, Knoxville, TN 37919 this Thursday for a special shopping event benefiting LLS. Can’t wait to see you all there, if you cannot make it and would like to donate still please click the link here to donate to my campaign.
I thank you for your support and generosity.
